Damien Chazelle’s ‘First Man’ Trailer Starring Ryan Gosling Is So Exciting That It Will Bawl Your Eyes Out

American film studio’s Universal Pictures recently released a new trailer for First Man, directed by Damien Chazelle who is one of the youngest Academy Award-winning directors in history. Based on the book First Man: The Life of Neil A. Armstrong by James R. Hansen. Well, the movie stars Kyle Chandler, Golden Globe winner Claire Foy, Ryan Gosling, Corey Stoll, Jason Clarke and many others, which makes the movie a major contender in 2018’s awards race.

Well, the movie is a dramatic telling of the first manned mission to the moon, led by Neil Armstrong (Gosling). Moreover, the trailer focusses on the personal impact the mission had on Armstrong’s life and how his wife along with the children came to terms with his single-minded obsession.

Well, we see Armstrong’s exacting ways in how he ensures everything is perfectly in place in the dangerous journey. He displays courage when he says, “We must fail down here so that we don’t fail up here.” Indeed, this is a perfect statement for anyone chasing their dream

Yet his wife is doubtful, “You’re just a bunch of boys,” she shouts at the mission commander, “you have nothing under control.”

Moreover, some scenes in First Man have been shot in the IMAX format, which has been advertised in the posters and can be seen in some of the outer space sequences in the trailer.

Meanwhile, the movie First Man had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on August 29, 2018 where director Chazelle also debuted his last movie, La La Land. Further, Chazelle again reunites with his core La La Land crew in First Man- editor Tom Cross, composer Justin Hurwitz and cinematographer Linus Sandgren who has won Oscars working on his movies.
