Veteran actor Rita Bhaduri who has worked with various Bollywood superstars like Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn and Govinda passed away on Tuesday morning. Well, the news about her sudden demise has left the entire film and television industry shocked.
The 62-year-old actress who has been a part of the Indian entertainment industry for over 3 decades was suffering from a kidney ailment and was being treated at Mumbai’s Sujay Hospital in Vile Parle for last 10 days before she passed away. While her last rites were performed at the Cremation Ground in Andheri East, Mumbai.
Born in Lucknow, Bhaduri had started her career in acting with the movie Teri Talash Mein in 1968. In a career spanning over 50 years, Rita had worked in popular movies like Raja, Kya Kehna, Beta, Viraasat, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na and Hero No.1. The late actress has worked in TV serials like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Khichdi, and Kumkum. Also, she was last seen as Imarti Devi in Star Bharat’s TV show Nimki Mukhiya. Also, she has worked as a supporting actress in various Bollywood films during the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s.
Moreover, Rita was from the 1973 batch of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune and her batch included actress, Zarina Wahab.
