France is now termed among the favorites in the finals but the road towards this path was not so easy. After crushing Australia and Peru and a draw with Denmark, France was standing at the top of the group stage. They stunned everyone by beating Argentina and Uruguay and then defeating Belgium in semi-finals to reach the finals.
While Croatians have surprised everyone as they have won every single game of the tournament. Beginning from Nigeria, Argentina, and Iceland in Group stage, the team went on to beat the likes of Denmark and Russia in Knock-out stage and then a shocking victory over England in the semi-finals and to finally enter the finals.
Who stands a chance to win?
As we said it earlier, France is considered as favorites to life the trophy. Moreover, France’s odds sit at -106, while Croatia is a +387 underdog. Further, the odds of a draw sit at +233. A draw means the match was tied after 90 minutes before 30 minutes of extra time and penalty kicks. Whether you agree or not, the World Cup can’t end in a tie.
